IST ASSIGNMENT

FINISHED THE IT ASSIGNMENT!!!!!!
finally done it all, completed.
our posts required alot of pictures, colours abit of text as we didn't want alot of text and videos to watch.

There wasnt much difficulties
although one was
we started off with sprout bulider and protopage
then found it to hard to work with
so we ended up using piczo
as we found it easier and more fun to work with

PICZO

For our IT assignment for term 3 my partner, Mary, and i decieded to use Protocol for our website. -www.protocol.com

We realised that Protocol was a good website to use for our assignment, although when we checked out the other peoples profile assginments they all used Piczo.

We didn't want to use Piczo because everyone was using Piczo and it was too popular.

BUT today, we decided to use Piczo because we though that Protocol was too dull, and we couldn't do anything besides adding widgets and that didn't really help us

So we decided to use Piczo but the same topics wer had as before

TERM 3 ASSIGNMENT

we have a new project for this term and this time i am working with a partner. My partner is Mary and the site that we have decided to use is Protopage.
we havent decided on what were going to use
but we are looking.

difficulties during the assignment

we had many difficulties during this assignment.
one of them included not bothering to film our assignment and leaving it to the last minute was bad enough.
on the day that the assgnment was due when is today (2nd July 08) we had difficulties as we nearly lost our video file and also we still need to burn the file and also edit it.
filming wasn't that hard.
we cut our video alot
because it was too long
we cut out the endling because we lost the ending
so instead we wrote
to be continued ...
Mr. lennon was supposed to be in our film but got cut our at the end.

JUNE 30 2008

todasy we filmed our assignment.
we filmed one portion of our assignement a week ago
then stopped,
and we filemed the rest
props weren't that hard as we filmed at school near the IT rooms
and in the IT room.
we filmed the "bad" and "good" side of school uniforms
and Mr. Lennon took part in the film by judging the uniforms

mm it took my a while but i found it quite easy
well. the software that i used was inkscape because i found it really easy to use intead of gimp
the difficulties that i had were not knowing what to choose like what animation to create and i just started so i decided to do "young love"

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

1) What does the person in the career do?
Graphic designer is responsible for arranging and using elements on different types of media. They work with drawn, painted, photographed or computer-generated images (pictures). But they also create movie cedits, TV ads, books magazines, posters newspapers and so on.

2) Where would you see this person work (e.g. in the newspaper or in the game shop)?
You would see this person work in the magazgine industry, photography studio, or at home photoshopping images.

3) What training is needed for the career?
The training that is used for graphic designing is to be able to use a computer and also to know how to use certin tools for example photoshop or a graphics software

4) What kind of software and hardware is used?
The kind of software you would use is graphics software, photoshop, adobe illustrator or in design. The kind of hardware used is printers, computers and monitors.

ANIMATOR

1) What does the person in the career do?
An animator produces multiple frames. When they are together these create an illusion and is turned into an animation. They work with 2D animation and or 3D model animation or computer-generated animation.

2) Where would you see this person work (e.g. in the newspaper or in the game shop)?
An animator would work online, in a studio, actions, video games.

3) What training is needed for the career?
The training used for the career is also like being a graphics designer being able to use a computer and the software on it. Also the training is also involving how to draw 3D and 2D images, desgining models, characters, sets, objects and everything in the animation environment.

4) What kind of software and hardware is used?
The kind of software used is Flash player, 3D studio max, maya, lightwave, softimage and cinema 4D. Hardware that is used is computers, printers, monitors.
